🌟 Participant Feature: Meet Kathy 🌟​

​Kathy's journey started in Victoria with a hip replacement in 2019. After moving in with her kids, it became too much, and she ended up on the streets. Despite close calls, God was looking out for her. 🙏 She found a shelter for six months before moving to Chilliwack in 2020 to be closer to a friend, who introduced her to Ruth and Naomi’s.​

​Kathy lived at Pathways for nine months, becoming a vital part of our community, always with a broom and dustpan, keeping the streets clean. 🧹 After Pathways, she moved to Interchange Supportive Housing, receiving much-needed support and healthcare.​

​Kathy is grateful for the support from Ruth and Naomi’s, emphasizing, “The support here is something I never got in Victoria.” She encourages others to “never give up, keep going, and stay positive.” 🌈​

​Now a grandmother, Kathy visits her family in Victoria often. She calls Interchange her home and continues to keep it looking nice. “It’s our home, and we need to keep it looking nice.” 🏡✨
