We offer a safe haven for individuals seeking freedom from addiction. Rooted in Christian principles, our programs combine compassionate care, professional support, and the tools to heal. We help individuals reclaim their lives and we believe in the power of faith and community to bring about lasting recovery.

Our programs are designed to meet individuals where they are as we walk alongside them in their recovery journey. Participants are invited to enter a journey that begins with a year long stay in one of our programs followed by an opportunity to stay an additional year while being supported during their transition back into the community.

Both our men’s and women’s programs consist of structured daily routines, including group classes, individual coaching, a focus on life skills, outdoor activities and guidance from our trained professionals. Our staff use a variety of tools including the focus in our programs called the Genesis Process.

Many of our staff are trained Genesis Counsellors and each participant will be taken through the Relapse Prevention Genesis Process with their one-on-one Genesis Counsellor in the later part of their first year.

Admission Requirements

Mental Health Support

RAN Recovery is not equipped to support complex mental health conditions requiring intensive psychiatric care or medical supervision. Individuals needing specialized support are encouraged to access those services prior to admission.

Physical Accessibility

Our facilities are not currently accessible for individuals using mobility aids. Please inform us of any physical limitations in advance so we can assess your ability to safely participate in the program.

Criminal History Disclosure

All applicants must disclose any criminal charges. Charges involving violence or sexual offenses may affect eligibility.

Program Commitment

- Minimum Stay: 12 months
- Optional Reintegration Phase: Up to 24 months total
- Men’s and Women’s Programs: Available at both levels

Program Structure

The program consists of four progressive phases:

Phase 1 (0-4 months)

  • • 0-30 days - no passes

  • 30-60 days - extended pass 60-90- overnight pass

  • 90-120 days- weekend pass

Phase 2 (4-8 months)

  • • Eligible for 1 weekend & 1 overnight pass per month

Phase 3 (8-12 months)

  • Eligible for unlimited weekend passes

  • Eligible to work part-time (evening/weekends)

Phase 4 (12 up to 24 months)

  • Reintegration phase

  • Eligible to work/go to school full time (planning towards exit)

All still with approval &by management

Participation Guidelines

  • Employment: Not permitted during the first eight months of the program *(please confirm if this timeframe is accurate)*

  • Passes: Weekend and overnight passes may be requested and are subject to staff approval

  • Storage: We do not offer storage for personal items—please bring only essential belongings

  • Detox Requirements: If your last use of alcohol, benzodiazepines (benzos), or opiates was within 72 hours, detox must be completed prior to intake

Medication and Smoking Policies

  • Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT): Accepted (e.g., Suboxone, Methadone), with ongoing prescription and monitoring by a licensed healthcare provider

  • Smoking: Permitted in designated outdoor areas only

Fees

Self-Pay Option
If external funding is not available, the monthly self-pay rate is $1,800.

Emergency and Exit Plans

Your designated emergency contact will be notified if you: - Choose to leave the program

  • Are discharged

  • Experience a medical emergency

If you reside outside Chilliwack and are discharged early, a transportation plan must be in place prior to intake (e.g., confirmed bus ticket or reserved travel funds).

Our 26-bed men’s facility offers a supportive environment for men seeking freedom from addiction. This program is designed to meet the unique needs of men in recovery, providing a blend of professional care, spiritual guidance, and community support.

Participants benefit from comfortable accommodations and personalized treatment plans. Through our holistic approach, we help men not only overcome addiction but also rebuild their lives, grounded in faith and a renewed sense of purpose.

Our intimate 8-bed facility exclusively for women, provides a safe and nurturing space to begin the journey to recovery. This specialized program is tailored to address the specific challenges that women face in overcoming addiction.

With personalized care plans we emphasize the power of community, faith, and professional support to help women regain control of their lives and find a renewed sense of hope while being supported in a safe and secure environment.

Sparrow House

We are excited to announce the opening of Sparrow House, our new, expanded women’s addiction recovery program, launching in 2025. This facility will allow us to walk alongside more women in their recovery journey. With increased capacity, Sparrow House will provide a safe, supportive environment where women can break free from addiction, rebuild their lives, and strengthen their relationship with God. At Sparrow House, we will continue our commitment to compassionate recovery, helping women find hope and lasting transformation.
