When Derrick first came to Ruth & Naomi’s Mission, he was exhausted and overwhelmed.
We offered Derrick a safe place to continue his recovery, and something he didn’t expect: consistency, community, and people who wouldn’t give up on him.
Over time, trust grew. Barriers came down. And today, Derrick is thriving, rebuilding family relationships, planning for the future, and becoming a leader among his peers.
That transformation didn’t happen by chance.
It happened because someone walked beside him, and because supporters like you made that support possible.
Recovery That Fits Real Life
Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we’re expanding our program to offer individualized recovery pathways, meeting people where they’re at, and supporting them in ways that truly work for their lives.
Each participant’s journey is different, and each plan is tailored with dignity and care.

Your generosity provides the practical, day-to-day support people need to rebuild their lives; counselling, coaching, meals, life skills, and steady casework that leads to stability and independence.
Your Easter Gift Can Provide:
$250 – Two weeks of individualized coaching and casework for 1 participant
$500 - Five life-skills or job-readiness coaching sessions for participants preparing for employment
$1,000 – Welcome and comfort packages for 10 participants beginning recovery
$2,500 – Mattress toppers, bedding, and comfort items for a full cohort of 8 participants entering residential recovery
$5,000 - Graduation mile stone support for an entire cohort, including celebration events, certificates, and transition-to-independence gift kits
